Thanks to a craving for the impossibly good veggie burgers at Harry's Bar & Burger, I was lucky enough to bump into the always brilliant Lara Henderson, my former professor at Brown in book arts and just one of the most incredible artists I know, on the streets of Providence. She was kind enough to stop by my studio the following week and offer some truly wonderful feedback on the work I was doing at the time. Her critique helped me push through some walls I was starting to hit and really improved each piece tremendously. I truly cannot thank her enough for her time and care. Those paintings are so much better thanks to her insight and input.

Kevin Boyan stopped by the studio following in the footsteps of his fiance Sarah, brightening both my day and Lorelai's. Thanks for your feedback on the work at such an early stage. Your suggestions really influenced the direction I took on each piece.

Sarah Raymond became one of my first official visitors at the studio, and the first to pose for a photo, though when I asked to take one she said she would only allow it if she could cover her face with the cloth I had on hand. I was thrilled with the end result and will be having others do the same going forward. Thanks for the great idea Sarah and for your wonderful company all afternoon!
